Italian aerial lift manufacturer Gromet has appointed Cintermaq as the Spanish distributor for its Axolift branded low level platforms.
Based in Zaragoza Cintermaq was established in 1996 and offers a specialist range of products, including Almac self-levelling scissor and boom lifts alongside a wide range of small construction equipment such as mini dumpers and pumps etc..

Axolift entered the Spanish market in 2025 with the appointment of Svelt España last May, however Svelt sells the Axolift-built machines under its own label. In other words, the machines it sells are painted blue, rather than the Axolift orange, and branded as Svelt and have different model numbers. For example, the orange Axolift Manulift 200 becomes the blue Svelt 400, with just a few minor tweaks to the chassis bumpers, etc.. to differentiate them.
Cintermaq chief executive and majority shareholder José Vicente Gracia said: “We are extremely happy with our partnership with Axolift and very optimistic about the future of this cooperation and the results we will achieve together. With more than 10 agents operating all over the country, we will be able to cover all areas of Spain and establish the Axolift brand in the Spanish market.”
Gromet/Axolift chief executive Massimo Grossele added: “ We are pleased to start this new partnership with a well established company like Cintermaq. This collaboration will allow us to further strengthen our presence in the Spanish market and better serve rental companies all over the country.”
The two companies will launch the relationship at SMOPYC in Zaragoza this April.
