Manitowoc adds to board

Manitowoc, owner of the Grove, Potain and National Crane brands, has appointed Mark Rourke and Randy Wood as new main board directors.

Mark Rourke is currently chief executive of North American transportation and logistics company Schneider National, while Randy Wood is chief executive of the irrigation system and highway barrier manufacturer Lindsay

Mark Rourke joined Schneider as a driver in 1987 and has moved up through the organisation over the past 38 years, before taking on the chief executive role in 2019, just two years after the company floated on the New York Stock Exchange. He also serves on the boards of the Trucking Alliance and the Green Bay Packers.

Randy Wood joined Lindsay in 2008 as vice president of North American irrigation sales, following an 11 year spell with CNH (Case New Holland). He started out in the marketing and training department in 1997 and went on to become senior director of marketing for Case/International Harvester tractors, before leaving in 2008 for Lindsay. He also serves on the boards of the Nebraska and Omaha Chambers of Commerce and United Way of the Midlands.

Manitowoc chairman Kenneth Krueger said: “Mark and Randy are both proven leaders with exceptional operational expertise that will enhance strategic decision-making and governance for Manitowoc.
