Favelle Favco Tower Cranes has appointed US company Select Crane Sales as an authorised dealer for its heavy duty M and MK Series of luffing jib cranes.
As part of this appointment, Select has placed an initial order for one of Favelle Favco’s M900F-ST short-tail luffing jib cranes. Designed specifically for the US market the M900F ST has a maximum capacity of 64 tonnes at up to a 17.5 metre radius on a 55 metre boom/jib, or handle 60 tonnes on its 64.2 metre boom/jib. At its maximum radius with the standard 64.2 metre jib, it has a capacity of12.8 tonnes at a 60 metre radius.

Select Crane Sales specialises in the sale and bare rental of new and used cranes, including All Terrains, truck cranes, carry deck cranes, boom trucks, Rough Terrains, tower cranes, foundation cranes, draglines, as well as telehandlers. It also runs an extensive parts operation, in-house repair service, and mobile jobsite support team. It is also a dealer for Manitex, Tadano, Terex and Wolffkran and represents Dica, Elebia, Trimble and Ropeblock products from locations in Fort Pierce, Florida, Branchburg, New Jersey, plus Brockton and Ashland, Virginia.
Favelle Favco is based in Malaysia, where it has both headquarters and a production facility. It also has a plant in Australia and facilities in Texas, Denmark, China, Singapore and Abu Dhabi. It is also a sister company to Kroll Tower cranes. The two companies produce the largest tower cranes in the world and specialise in the heavier end of the market, they are part of publicly quoted Malaysian company, Muhibbah Engineering.
