The UK subsidiary of Chinese crane manufacturer Sany has formed what it refers to as a strategic alliance with Crowland Cranes, starting in March.
The agreement will see Crowland Cranes manage all future sales of Sany mobile cranes, while providing an improved after sales service and support. A further step will see a new replacement parts warehouse added at Crowlands Peterborough base. It will complement Sany UK’s existing locations, Coatbridge, Scotland and Sittingbourne, Kent, with the aim of improving parts availability and providing faster response times.
The Sany UK service engineering team, led by country manager Kevin Neal, will work closely with Crowland’s Peterborough based service engineers. The first stock cranes are scheduled to arrive at Crowland in the coming weeks, including 60, 70, 100 and 150 tonne All Terrains, a 45 tonne Rough Terrain, a 60 tonne telescopic crawler, and a new 15 tonne industrial crane.

Neal said: “This alliance represents a major step forward for Sany UK as we continue building a strong foundation of engineering excellence and customer support across Great Britain. Working side by side with the highly skilled team at Crowland Cranes, ensuring our customers receive the confidence, service, and technical expertise they expect when investing in a new manufacturer. We are excited to bring this next chapter to life and deliver a level of support that truly sets a new benchmark for the industry.
