Twin 250t cranes for Hartman

Dutch maritime company Hartman Seatrade has taken delivery of two 250 tonne Liebherr LS 250 ship cranes.

Configured for tandem lifting operations, the LS 250s offer a maximum lift capacity of 250 tonnes with 36 metre maximum radius. Features include fully enclosed crane columns and Liebherr's Litronic control system providing real time operating data.

Hartman Seatrade’s vessel is purpose built for heavy lift and project cargo operations, with the hull constructed in Szczecin, Poland, and final outfitting carried outi n the Netherlands. Before completion, the ship will stop in Rostock, Germany, for installation of Liebherr LS 250 ship cranes.

Teele Hartman, Hartman Seatrade managing director, said: “Our partnership with Liebherr dates back to 2006, and today we have two of their cranes operating on one Seatrade vessel. The equipment has proven exceptionally reliable and precise, delivering the performance our operations demand.”

Based in Urk, north east of Amsterdam, Hartman operates in wind energy, yacht transport, oil & gas, port handling, offshore and dredging with a team of 80 crew members and seven vessels.
