LiftSmart's new CL Series

US portable material lift manufacturer LiftSmart has launched a new compact material lift line, the CL Series, at the ARA Show in Orlando, Florida. yesterday.

The four model CL Series has been engineered for indoor lifting applications and areas with restricted access. They feature lift capacities from 158kg to 227kg with lift heights from 1.2m/4ft to 3.7m/12ft.

The SmartLift stand at ARA

The four models are the:
- 1.2m/4ft CL-4
- 2.4m/8ft CL-8
- 3.1m/10ft CL-10
- 3.7m/12ft CL-12

The CL8 base model has an overall stowed width of 690mm, extending to 1.07 metres, with a stowed length of 410mm and an overall stowed height of 1.75m.

Features include:

- A new 'Adjust-A-Base' system which allows the two smaller models to be easily converted to a straddle base by swapping out the support legs, the straddle base is standard on the two larger models.

- Smart latch - A secondary automatic stowed latching system

- Smart Tilt - A built in foot ramp makes tilting the lift safe and easy

- Full size aluminium sheaves and cables

- Integrated fork storage pockets

One of the new units from the CL Series

LiftSmart founder and managing director Steve Citron said: “This series came directly from listening to customers. They needed compact lifts that were durable, adaptable and built to last in rental environments.”

The company is also giving away a 4.8m/15.8ft MLI-15 material lift to commemorate 15 years in business. To be in for a chance of winning the MLI-15 material lift, attendees are invited to visit the LiftSmart booth to enter for free. The winner will be announced during the show.
