LiftSmart moves into new production plant

LiftSmart the USA based manufacturer of portable material lifts, that made its first appearance at this year’s Rental show, in early March, has moved into a new production plant, located in Vista, California - between Los Angeles and San Diego.

The facility includes office and production areas and has room for expansion, providing the company with over 1,900 square metres (20,000sqft) of manufacturing space that will house its ‘technology centre’ in addition to production operations.

LiftSmart unveiled the first of several planned material lift models in its MLC Construction Pro Series, at the Las Vegas show. The line offers up to 800lbs (360kg) load capacity and lift heights of either 12, 18, or 24ft.(3.6, 5.5 or 7.3m).

Steve Citron, managing director of Lift Smart said: “The City of Vista has been very helpful over the past year and the location is ideal, close to major freeways and the ports of Los Angeles and San Diego -perfect for our international customers”.

“Our products have been well received and this new facility will allow us to begin production of the MLC Pro Series and to continue introducing our complete range of material lift product lines to meet our customers’ needs”.
