Böcker Nederland, the Dutch distribution subsidiary of German crane and hoist manufacturer Böcker, has appointed Ivo Heuvelmans as managing director.
He joins the company after four years with machinery manufacturer NTS, as managing director and then global business development manager - defence and health.
In his new role, he will be responsible for the company’s commercial strategy, strengthening relationships with new and existing customers and partners, and entering new markets.

Heuvelmans began his career at the start of 1998 as a human resources advisor for CSU Cleaning Services. After two years with the company, he moved to a similar role with wholesale metals and minerals provider MCB and was promoted to human resources manager in 2007 and facility manager three years later. He left MCB in 2013 for automotive supplier Be-Ge where he was appointed general manager of the car seat division. In 2019, he joined materials manufacturing company Van Voorden Foundry as a director, leaving after three years for NTS.

Heuvelmans added: “The company has built a strong reputation in lifting technology over many years. This is reflected, among other things, in our sustainable, electrically powered products under the motto ‘Böcker Goes Green’.”
