New cranes for Bray

UK rental company Bray Cranes has taken delivery of a 60 tonne Liebherr LTM 1060-3.1 All Terrain crane, with a 90 tonne LTM 1090-4.2 AT due to arrive later this year.

The three axle LTM 1060-3.1 is equipped with a six section 48 metre main boom, which can be topped with a 9.5 to 16 metre bi-fold swingaway extension, which takes the maximum tip height to more than 67 metres, while also offering up to 40 degrees of offset. The crane can carry all its 12.8 tonnes of counterweight within the UK’s STGO regulations, which permit up to 16 tonnes per axle. The new crane follows the addition of a 60 tonne LTM 1060-3.1 and a 40 tonne LTM 1040-2.1 at the end of 2024.
The handover

Managing director Neil Stephenson said: “We are delighted to start the year off with the arrival of this new LTM 1060-3.1, expanding our fleet of modern Liebherr cranes. We tend to choose Liebherr cranes as they are not only reliable, but we also receive excellent back-up from the local field service engineers.”
