The lift acts as either a material or personnel lift with a maximum capacity of 1,300kg or 13 people to a lifting height of 150 metres at a speed of 40 metres a minute. The modular hoist is designed for use in construction site lift shafts and can be assembled and dismantled from inside the shaft, allowing it to pass through a standard 900mm wide doorway. TS Platform travelled to the Geda facility in Asbach-Bäumenheim to take delivery of the unit

Geda regional sales manager, Florian Draxler said: “With the Geda Shaft Lift, we have developed a solution specifically tailored to the challenges in the shaft area. We are all the more pleased that our long-standing customer TS Platform & Hejs is the first to adopt this innovative product.”
Peter Jörgensen of TS Platform added: “The shaft area is becoming an increasingly important issue on construction sites. What makes it unique is, above all, the ability to assemble and disassemble the hoist from the inside. Combined with a payload of at least 1,000kg and flexible lengths, the lift offers exactly the advantages that are crucial in practice.”
