Crosby's new hook cameras

US - International lifting tackle, equipment and accessories manufacturer Crosby - part of Kito Crosby - has launched two new crane load camera systems, the BlokCam X4 for tower cranes, crawler cranes and overhead cranes and the M4 system for mobiles - All Terrains, Rough Terrains and truck cranes etc..

Both new systems offer 2K QHD (Quad High Definition) resolution at 2,688 x 1,520 pixels at 15 frames a second, with a 16:9 aspect ratio. Field of view is 93 degrees horizontal, 48 degrees vertical and 117 degrees diagonal.

Features include a wide dynamic range for visibility in difficult lighting conditions and improved low light performance for night work, the systems can also record up to 50 days of continuous footage.

The company said: “The new Crosby BlokCam systems provide tower, mobile, and crawler crane operators with the enhanced visibility and real time insight they need to work with greater precision, confidence, and safety across construction environments.”

Kito Crosby was formed from the Merger of Crosby and Kito following Crosby's purchase of Kito in 2022. Its brands include Kito, Crosby, Harrington, Gunnebo Industries, Peerless, Straightpoint and BlokCam.
