French aerial lift manufacturer Klubb has announced a new 28 metre telescopic 3.5 tonne truck mounted lift - the PT 280.

Developed jointly by Klubb group's French and Italian engineering teams, the new PT280 is mounted on a 3.5 tonne Mercedes Sprinter chassis and features a five section boom and pedestal mounted basket, providing a maximum working height of 28 metres with a maximum platform capacity of 250kg / two operators, while the Maximum outreach is 17.5 metres with 80kg in the platform over the rear, or 13.4 metres over the side.

The unit has a control interface with a 4.3 inch colour screen that provides real time information, along with fully proportional controls and simultaneous multi-function operation without interference. We have yet to see the full specification, but the lift will make its public debut at Apex in June.

Production is scheduled to start in October, with deliveries expected towards the end of the year.
