Sinoboom updates 60ft booms

Sinoboom has launched the 61ft AB18J Plus and AB18EJ Plus, updated versions of its 60ft AB18J and the electric AB18EJ articulated boom lifts with more platform capacity and a greater working envelope.

The AB18J Plus and AB18EJ Plus have a maximum platform capacity of 340kg up to an outreach of 10.5 metres and a working height of 18.5 metres. A platform capacity of 250kg is available at the maximum working height of 20.4 metres and maximum outreach of 12.2 metres. Its predecessors featured a maximum working height of 20.2 metres and a maximum outreach of 12.1 metres with an unrestricted platform capacity of 250kg.

Sinoboom AB18EJ Plus

When stowed, the earlier AB18EJ had an overall length of 8.6 metres, an overall width of 2.28 metres and is 2.56 metres high. The AB18(E)J Plus, is 8.8 metres long with an overall width of 2.49 metres and a stowed height of 2.52 metres.

The AB18J

Built on the same platform as the AB22J Plus, the new units are easier to transport in containers or on flatbed trucks, while the AB18EJ Plus’s battery has been upgraded to a 500Ah and an optional range extender is available to create a hybrid machine.

Chief design engineer, Simon Sun said: “The upgraded AB18J Plus and AB18EJ Plus now incorporate features that make life easier both for operators and rental owners. The high capacity and expanded working envelope make work more efficient, and the greater battery capacity of the AB18EJ Plus makes it practical for a wider range of applications.”
