IPAF membership reaches 2,000

The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) reports that it has appointed its 2,000th active member, with membership now covering 83 countries including manufacturers, rental companies, contractors and training providers.

Chief executive Peter Douglas said: “Over recent years, we have expanded our training programmes, digital services, and safety campaigns, supporting members in reducing workplace incidents and improving operational efficiency. As part of our commitment to a truly global community, we are also increasing the availability of our materials in more languages, ensuring we can reach and support members wherever they are in the world.”

The federation said it will naturally continue to expand its global reach and member services, while focusing on safety and training initiatives. It added that it is working towards full digital adoption of the Powered Access Licence card via its ePAL app and will continue its ‘Share Your Story’ campaign, which encourages members to report incidents and share experiences providing a learning opportunity for others.
