Pop Up hits the road

UK based low level access specialist Pop Up Products has launched a demonstration service offering customers across the UK on site product guidance and training.

The service will be led by Jamie Murphy, who was recently appointed technical products demonstrator. He will travel the country to provide hands-on demonstrations, familiarisation, toolbox talks and equipment inspections.

Customers can book visits online, selecting a date, time and the products they want demonstrated. The company says the service will also include tower inspections and onsite safety talks.

Ben Sly, director of sales said: “Our new service has been developed to give users greater confidence in choosing the right equipment and to support safe working at height across a wide range of industries.”

“It is all part of the service we pride ourselves on. By bringing onsite demonstrations to our customers along with things like end user toolbox talks, emergency lowering procedures and safety talks, we are helping them make informed choices and always ensuring the best possible health and safety.”

Managers Paul Gallacher, Nigel Wodger and Adrian Blomeley teamed up for a Management Buy Out of the business in 2003 and in 2005 developed the idea of a lightweight, practical push around scissor lift, setting up Pop Up Products at the end of that year. In January 2006, they launched the first Pop Up push around lift at the Hire Show – see: A viable push around lift? and this year, the company marks its 20th anniversary.
