250 tonner for Wagenborg

Dutch international heavy lift and transport company Wagenborg Nedlift has taken delivery of a 250 tonne Grove GMK5250XL-1 All Terrain crane.

The GMK5250XL-1 features an eight section 78.5 metre main boom topped by an 18 metre bi-fold swingaway extension that can be extended to 34 metres with additional inserts. Features include Grove’s Maxbase variable outrigger setup and all wheel steer. Power comes from a single HVO ready Stage V Mercedes diesel.

Wagenborg fleet manager Johan Bakker, collected the crane from the Grove facility in Breda and said: “The GMK5250XL-1 is an excellent addition to our fleet and supports our drive towards more sustainable operations, thanks to its advanced engine technology. Our investment in this crane brings both strength and versatility, while also boosting efficiency in our day to day operations.”

Operating for 125 year, Wagenborg is supported by a team of 3,000 employees covering its land and sea fleet operating within power and wind, infrastructure, petrochemical, oil & gas and construction.
