French rental and transport company Transports Toussaint has taken delivery of a 55 tonne LTM 1055‑3.3 All Terrain crane, one of the first units of this model to be delivered.
The new crane is handed over
The three axle LTM 1055-3.3, which was launched at Bauma last year, replaces an LTM 1055-3.1 in the company’s fleet. It features a 40 metre main boom plus an 8.6 to 15 metre bi-fold swingaway extension for a maximum tip height of just over 58 metres while also offering up to 40 degrees of offset. Features include the Liccon3 control system, VarioBase variable outrigger setup and remote control system, along with Ecodrive and Ecomode systems. The crane has already completed its first job in Greater Paris.
(L-R) Samuel Ribeiro and Mohamed Behli of Transports Toussaint with Steve Stoeffler of Liebherr Head of lifting Tony Toussaint said: “With its high mobility and roadworthiness, the LTM 1055-3.3 fits perfectly with our fleet strategy and expands our range of operations in the regional lifting business. We opted for the mobile crane because, with nine tonnes of ballast, it can travel on public roads within 12 tonne axle loads. This makes the LTM 1055-3.3 ideal for use as a ‘taxi crane’.”
The crane on its first job in Paris
Established in 1990, Toussaint is based in Yvelines, on the west side of Paris, the company now operates from six locations in France, providing logistics, transport and lifting services supported by its team of 180 employees.
