Mec adds to product managment team

MEC aerial work platforms has appointed Rob Orolowski as director of product development and Corey Raymo as director of aerial work platforms as part of a move to expand its product management team.

In his new role, Orolowski will lead the company's product development process and product portfolio analytics, while Raymo will be responsible for product strategy and lifecycle management for scissor lifts, mast lifts and boom lifts.

He joins MEC from financial services company NyLife Securities where he was in financial services. He began his career in 1999 as a technical adviser at machinery manufacturer CNH Industrial, transferring to CNH Capital in 2002, as business development manager, returning to the manufacturing operation as a product manager after four years and was promoted to risk management residual manager in 2010.

He left the company in 2013 for Komatsu, moving to Link-Belt Excavators as director of innovation and product portfolio strategist in 2016. After six years with the company, he moved to Hitachi as director of product management and engineering, followed by a short spell in insurance before joining NyLife Securities in 2025.

Raymo joins MEC after five years with from chilled truck specialist Carrier Transicold, starting as associate director of engineering for North America and most recently serving as associate director of refrigeration quality engineering. He began his career in 1998 with JLG, where he spent the next 18 and a half years, as a mechanical design engineer, and after a number of promotions, became global product director of scissors and boom lifts.

He left the company in 2016 for a change of scene, taking up the role of general manager at online fitness company No Time To Lose Fitness. Two years later, he was drawn back to the access industry as director of value engineering at Manitou, leaving after two years for Carrier Transicold.
