New MD for Manitou India

Manitou India has appointed Puneet Ralhan as managing director. He joins the company from machinery manufacturer Kion group where he was vice president of operations for the past two years.

Ralhan began his career in 1998 as an assistant manager with vehicle manufacturer Escorts Kubota, leaving after three years for International Tractors, where he was appointed deputy general manager. After seven and a half years with the company, he returned to Escorts Kubota, initially as a manufacturing general manager, progressing to business head of aftersales. In 2017, he returned to International Tractors as assistant vice president, leaving in 2021, for Indo Farm Equipment as director of operations, moving to Kion two and a half years later.

Manitou India said: “Puneet’s vision for manufacturing and digital evolution will be critical assets as we expand our production capabilities and strengthen our regional footprint.”
