Another 70m Ruthmann for MeyerLift

German rental company MeyerLift has taken delivery of a second 70 metre Ruthmann T 700 HF truck mounted platform.

The T700 HF features a five section main boom, topped by a three section upper boom and an articulating jib, all of which provide a maximum outreach of 41 metres, or up to 35 metres at an up & over height of 47 metres. Maximum platform capacity is 600kg. The new lift also follows the delivery of a 51 metre T510 HF ordered last year.

Meyer Lift said: “The machines will be used for work on high rise buildings, mobile phone masts and industrial facilities, particularly where long outreach is required, and there is a need to carry multiple people and materials in the platform.”

Meyer Lift - a member of System Lift - was founded by Olaf Meyer in 2000 when he took over what was a family painting contractor and entered the aerial lift rental market. Four years later, the rental and painting businesses separated. Headquartered in Hohenwestedt around 20 kilometres west of Neumünster, the company employs 16 and runs a fleet of around 200 aerial lifts and telehandlers.
