German crane rental company CST Transporte has taken delivery of a 200 tonne Grove GMK5200-1 All Terrain crane.
The five axle crane - supplied through dealer KranAgentur Werner - features a 64 metre main boom and an 18 metre to 34 metre bi-fold swingaway extension. Features include five outrigger widths, interchangeable counterweights with other Grove cranes in the company’s fleet, Megatrak suspension and all wheel steer. The company also added the working light package with additional LED lights to light the area around the crane, as well as storage boxes on the superstructure and carrier to provide space for slings and other lifting equipment.
The handover of the new crane CST owner Christian Schug said: “The GMK5200-1 is a perfect fit for our operations. Its strong load chart is crucial for our work in concrete and precast construction, and the ability to move the crane when rigged with a full counterweight provides us with a real efficiency gain. With Grove Connect, we also have access to important machine data at all times and benefit from significantly simplified communication with the service team.”

Based in Wildeck, central Germany, CST Transporte provides arborist services, industrial and construction work, machinery removal and specialist transport running a fleet of All Terrains, loader cranes and heavy trucks.
