French rental company Limalev has taken delivery of a 55 tonne Liebherr LTM 1055‑3.3 All Terrain crane, one of the first in the country.
The Limalev team receives the new crane
The three axle LTM 1055-3.3, which was launched at Bauma last year, features a 40 metre main boom plus an 8.6 to 15 metre bi-fold swingaway extension for a maximum tip height of just over 58 metres while also offering up to 40 degrees of offset. Features include the Liccon3 control system, VarioBase variable outrigger setup and remote control system, along with Ecodrive and Ecomode systems.
(L-R) Marc Ganteille of Limalev and Matthieu Viginiat of Liebherr with Loris Lyonnet, Alexandra Da Rocha and Elsa Da Rocha of Limalev Limalev's owner Alexandra Da Rocha said: “We are proud to be one of the first companies in France to take delivery of an LTM 1055-3.3. The crane features a lightweight, high performance boom with a length of 40 metres, which offers outstanding lifting capacities, particularly at long reaches.”
Based in Limoges and founded in the 1960’s, the family company was taken over in 1994 by Enrique Da Rocha, and then again in 2023 by its current co-managing directors Alexandra and Elsa Da Rocha. Today it operates predominately in Nouvelle Aquitaine and in the neighbouring regions and runs a fleet of six All Terrain cranes, loader cranes, and forklifts.
