TGT appoints Dorn Lift

German glass lift handling manufacturer TGT has appointed Austria’s Dorn Lift as its distributor and service partner for southern Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein and Switzerland. Until now, TGT Teupen has sold the products directly from its headquarters in Emsbüren west of Osnabrück, near the Dutch border.

Dorn lift, based in Lauterach, Austria - near Bregenz , employs around 25 people. In 2023 it was acquired by Felermayr with all employees, including the owners and senior managers remaining on board. Today the company distributes Haulotte self-propelled lifts, Omme trailer lifts and Multitel truck mounts as well as providing spare parts and technical assistance for Rothlehner, Denka, Ruthmann, Palfinger, Niftylift, Genie, Terex, JLG, Skyjack, Basket, CTE, CMC and Dinolift.

Dorn lift sales manager Martin Feuerstein will oversee the operation, supported by Tobias Gaßner, who will handle the majority of the sales, and Sebastian Lachner, who has several years’ experience with glass handling equipment. The company will also offer TGT's spider cranes.

The first delivery has already been completed with a unit going to window installation company Haidl Fenster und Türen in Reichersberg, northern Austria.
