120 tonner for Würzburger Kranverleih

The four axle crane, upgraded in January last year, retains the same seven section 66 metre main boom, 10.8 to 19 metre bi-fold swingaway extension, VarioBase variable outrigger set up and VarioBallast adjustable counterweight, in order to provide the same performance and capacities as its predecessor, the LTM 1120-4.1. However, the LTM 1120-4.2 incorporates several enhancements, including improved driver assistance systems, a TraXon DynamicPerform clutch system for smoother starts, and a newly designed chassis cab. The crane will be used predominately for the erection of tower cranes, steel and concrete construction, as well as the installation of transformer stations.

Würzburger Kranverleih owner, Ibrahim Haido said: “Our fleet needed a powerful four axle crane. The LTM 1120-4.2 offers enormous lifting capacities and is ideal for use on confined construction sites, where five axle mobile cranes reach their limits.”

“Following the LTM 1100-5.3, LTM 1110-5.2, and LTM 1120-4.2, the crane is now the third Liccon3 crane in our fleet. Our operators are delighted with the modern technology and the user friendly controls."

Established in 1994, family owned Würzburger Kranverleih is based in Würzburg - between Nuremburg and Frankfurt - and runs a fleet of 16 cranes up to 300 tonnes, along with a fleet of recovery and transport trucks, from four locations including the headquarters and three branches with 30 employees.
