New CEO for Konecranes
Konecranes has appointed Marko Tulokas as its new chief executive, taking over the role next week- June.first - from
Anders Svensson, who leaves the company on July 19, for a new job with Swedish software, tracking and AI company Hexagon. He will, however, work as an advisor for his final six weeks with the company to ensure a smooth transition.

Marko Tulokas
A mechanical engineer by education, Tulokas joined Konecranes in 2004 and has held several senior roles in the company, both in Finland and Asia, spending most of his career in the Industrial business. He is currently president of the Industrial Equipment division. He began his career in 1998 with Antonio Merloni as a material manager, which acquired Asko Appliances in 2000. He left in 2002 to do a two year MBA in corporate finance in Rotterdam.

He is in an excellent position to continue building success and executing strategy on this solid foundation together with the Konecranes Leadership Team and the entire personnel.”
