German rental company Marcus Riedelsheimer Autokran Dienste has taken delivery of a 55 tonne LTM 1055-3.3 All Terrain crane, replacing an LTM 1055-3.1.
The handover of the new crane
The three axle LTM 1055-3.2 has a five section 40 metre main boom and a 16 metre bi-fold swingaway extension, which can be offset by 0, 20, or 40 degrees, providing a maximum onboard tip height of 58 metres. It will be used as a taxi crane for day to day operations, as well as for the installation of precast concrete elements.

It features the modern Liccon3 crane control system and the VarioBase Plus variable outrigger system with wider rear outriggers, which provides significantly higher lifting capacities in these working areas. Numerous axle load variants make it easier for us to obtain comprehensive permits. This means we are well prepared should regulations become stricter in our region too.”
Marcus Riedelsheimer founded the company in 1995 as a small equipment rental business. Today it has 65 employees and operates mainly in the construction market. It also runs a precast concrete plant in addition to its crane rental business.
