German rental company KönningKrane has taken delivery of its third Liebherr All Terrain crane, the 150 tonne LTM 1150-5.4.

The five axle LTM 1150-5.4 is equipped with a 66 metre, seven section main boom. plus, a bi-fold swingaway extension that offsets by up to 40 degrees. A seven metre insert can be added to take the maximum tip height to almost 95 metres and maximum radius to 72 metres. The crane can travel with nine tonnes of counterweight on board within 12 tonne axle loads and 60 tonnes GVW. It also features the Liccon3 control centre and the BSIS (blind spot information system). The crane fills the gap in the company’s range between its 100 and 180 tonne units and completed its first job almost immediately after delivery, relocating a 37.5 tonne machine.

The crane lifts a 37.5 tonne load
Established in 1985 and based in Stadtlohn, western Germany, KönningKrane is run by a second generation and has around 20 All Terrains in its fleet, ranging from 40 to 180 tonnes. It also runs mobile self-erecting tower cranes and aerial work platforms as well as offering services in transport, recovery and tree felling.
