Bigger Magni territory for Kunze

German sales and rental company Kunze has expanded its dealership agreement with Magni telehandlers with additional territory in both Austria and Germany.

The agreement, which was finalised in November last year, now also covers some parts of North Rhine-Westphalia and Bavaria in Germany, and within Burgenland, Styria and Carinthia in Austria, with support provided from Kunze’s locations in Bruckmühl, Lüdinghausen and Graz. The agreement also includes the distribution of Magni scissor lifts, telescopic booms and articulated boom lifts as well as full sales and service support for all Magni products.

Kunze managing director, Charly Kunze, said: “A telehandler is an investment that has to pay off over many years. That is why we look closely at what the customer wants to do with the machine and what equipment they really need. In our German and Austrian sales territories, we are the point of contact for Magni telehandlers and support our customers from selection through to service after purchase.”

Founded in 1988 by Karl Kunze as an aerial work platform dealer for southern Germany, particularly Bavaria, the Bruckmühl based company later added Kunze Rental and Service to handle a trailer lift it had acquired. Karl handed over the day to day management of the business to his son Charly. The company now runs a rental fleet of around 120 platforms and distributes Jekko spider cranes, Platform Basket spider lifts and mast booms, plus Elma tracked carriers and cranes from three locations: Bruckmühl, southeast of Munich; Lüdinghausen, between Dortmund and Münster; and Mooskirchnerstr, west of Graz in Austria.
