The first 8,000kg/51 metre Magni RTH 8.51 360-degree telehandler with a 12 metre telescopic platform attachment has been shipped to Magni Germany, where it is being prepared for delivery to customer.

The new model, unveiled during GIS last year, features a seven section boom for a maximum lift height of 51 metres, at which point it can handle 2,000kg. Maximum forward reach on the main boom with forks is 34.5 metres, with a capacity of 300kg. Outrigger spread is 6.75 metres to pad centres, 7.31 metres overall. Overall weight of the machine is 36,300kg and maximum travel speed is 25kph.

A range of work platform attachments are also available, with the most basic offering a working height of 46.5 metres with a maximum platform capacity of 1,000kg and an outreach of 24.1 metres. While the new telescopic jib mounted platform, the ATT-01-024, takes the working height up to 63 metres with a platform capacity of 450kg/three people.
The view from 63 metres up Magni Deutschland managing director Alexander Reisch said: “This is a very special moment: The world's first RTH 8.51 with telescopic work platform attachment has arrived at our facility in Germany and will soon be heading out to its new owner.”
