Ireland’s first Sinoboom AB15ERJN

Irish rental company Boom & Platform Hire has taken delivery of the first 48ft Sinoboom AB15ERJN narrow aisle electric boom lifts to arrive in Ireland, along with several 19ft Sinoboom 1932ME and 27ft 2732E slab electric scissor lifts.

AB15ERJN launched last year, features a classic dual riser, two section telescopic boom and a jib with 100 degrees of articulation for a working height of 16.8 metres, 7.1 metres of outreach at a height of eight metres. The unrestricted platform capacity is 230kg with a full 180 degrees of platform rotation. The overall width is 1.5 metres, with an overall stowed height of just under two metres and an overall length of 5.82 metres, total weight is 8,500kg.

This latest order takes Boom & Platform Hire’s Sinoboom fleet to almost 200 units, all of which have been purchased through local Sinoboom distributor Lolex.

Family owned and managed, BP Hire was established in 2003 by Feargal Donoghue with the support of the late Ciaran Gillespie, and now operates from two locations, Blessington, southwest of Dublin in Co. Wicklow, and Midleton, due east of Cork.

Its fleet includes a wide range of platforms, including telescopic and articulated boom lifts, scissor lifts, mast booms, mast lifts, push-around low level lifts, and spider lifts, along with telehandlers and forklifts.

Boom & Platform Hire has been expanding and renewing its fleet at a cracking pace this summer as its market share grows. In June, it purchased three Platform Basket spider lifts and more recently completed a news [48890](40 unit order for Haulotte) booms and scissor lifts. It is certainly a company to watch.
