County Lifting takes 90 tonner

UK rental company County Lifting Services has taken delivery of a 90 tonne Liebherr LTM 1090-4.2 All Terrain crane, which it has named ‘Sammy Lou’.

The four axle LTM 1090-4.2 features a 60 metre main boom plus a 9.5 to 16 metre bi-fold swingaway extension with manual offset and a maximum tip height of just under 80 metres. Other features include VarioBase variable outrigger setup and remote control system, along with Ecodrive and Ecomode systems. The crane comes not long after the delivery of a 50 tonne LTM 1050-3.1.

The company said: “The addition of the LTM 1090-4.2 to our regular fleet will be a boon for County Lifting Services, and we’re excited to welcome it to our regular fleet.”

Established in 1991 by Steve and Andrea Drury, County Lifting specialises in lifting, moving and installing heavy high value and delicate loads, such as works of art, trains, planes, vehicles, production machinery and engineering equipment. Based in Kettering, England it runs a fleet that includes All Terrains up to 130 tonnes, as well as spider cranes, pick & carry cranes, loader cranes and heavy forklift type lifting machines.
