Rentease launches RE equipment

Indian access rental company RentEase will launch a new equipment manufacturing and sales brand, RE, at Bauma Conexpo India later this month.

The company said the move will take it beyond its existing rental, service and training activities into equipment design, manufacturing, sales, parts supply and distribution. RentEase will continue to run its rental business under the RentEase name, while RE will handle product development, manufacturing, sales, distribution and after sales support.

Two ranges have been announced so far, RE-Lift for powered access and work at height equipment and RE-Move for material handling, with more to follow.

The first machines on display will include the RE17AJLi articulated boom lift, the RE30HY spider lift, the RE08ES and RE12ES electric scissor lifts, the RETM36 truck mounted boom lift and a range of vertical mast lifts, including double mast and narrow chassis models, with working heights from 11 to 16 metres. RE will also show its REPT 20, REPT 25 LI, REPT 1.5 LI and REPT 2.0 LI battery powered pallet trucks.

RentEase said the machines will be built by manufacturing partners, which it has not named, and developed around its own rental and customer experience. It is also building a digital platform for equipment sales, rental and support, with details to be presented at the show, and is looking for dealers and distributors in India, the Middle East and Africa.
Meghraj Singh

Meghraj Singh, chairman of RentEase: "We have spent almost 10 years renting access and material handling equipment and I have been working directly with customers in the construction and industrial sectors for 17 years. That gives us a different perspective when we develop equipment. We know what works in the field, what creates challenges for rental companies and users. Last but not least, we know what customers expect throughout the life of a machine.”

RentEase was first established in India in 2017, to offer aerial work platform rental. It currently operates from four locations in India, with its headquarters in Navi Mumbai, with operations in Bangalore and Haripuram - Andra Pradesh. It runs a rental fleet of over 550 aerial lifts including booms, mast booms, scissor lifts, spider lifts and small truck mounts. It also offers servicing, parts and operator training. It was appointed Niftylift distributor in 2020, Scanclimber distributor in 2021 and Hauloutte dealer in 2022.
