The organisers are asking for toys suitable for children of all ages. Gifts can be sent wrapped or unwrapped, but wrapped gifts must be labelled on the outside with the contents, gender and age range for customs purposes.
Gift donations should be sent to PHAA at 289-297 Felixstowe Road, Ipswich, IP3 9BS, and must arrive by 30th November, and cash donations will go towards transport, fuel and logistics costs.
PHAA says it has delivered over 75,000 gifts since the appeal began in 2022
So far, access companies and corporate partner Kids in Mind have donated 60 pallets of toys along with two trucks to deliver the gifts, they are due to leave Ipswich on 7th of December for Košice in eastern Slovakia and from there, Ukrainian Rotary Clubs will distribute the presents.
PHAA founder and Ardent Rental chief executive, Jeremy Fish said: "I genuinely wish we didn't have to do this again. But as the conflict continues, so does the suffering of tens of thousands of children. These gifts are far more than toys. They are a direct message of solidarity that shows these kids they are not alone."
