80 tonner for Cantiniau

French rental and transport company Cantiniau has taken delivery of an 80 tonne Tadano AC 4.080-1 All Terrain crane.

The four axle AC 4.080-1 features a seven section, 60 metre boom and is equipped with the 8.5 to 16 metre bi-fold swingaway extension for a maximum tip height of almost 79 metres and 40 degrees of offset. The crane can carry up to 9.3 tonnes of counterweight on board within 12 tonne axle loads.

Cantiniau has also taken a Tadano e-Pack with the crane. The electro-hydraulic pack can run the crane from the external power supply when noise, or emissions are critical, such as working indoors, or at night in densely populated urban situations. Tadano France offers the e-Pack on a rental basis to buyers of its 40 to 80 tonne cranes.

Managing director Julie Cantiniau said: "I really wanted to bring this class of crane back into our fleet. We've worked with previous generations of 80 tonne cranes on particularly demanding projects, especially in the rail sector and for major industrial clients. It's satisfying to have this capacity crane again, along with the technological advancements of the new AC 4.080-1."

Based in Maubeuge, southeast of Lille on the Belgian border, the company runs a fleet of All Terrain, spider and pick & carry cranes, alongside a heavy haulage fleet.
