The crane went straight to work installing a new school bridge in Antakya, southern Turkey, replacing one that had been destroyed in an earthquake, followed by the instalation of four oxygen tanks at an industrial facility in İskenderun.
The LTM 1300-6.4 lifting an oxygen tank Yunuslar managing director, Nazif Gündoğdu said: "Along with the crane's technical capability, our positive experience with the 15 Liebherr cranes already in our fleet played an important role in the decision."
The crane's first job - the reconstruction of the bridge in Antakya
Yunuslar was founded in Malatya, in the eastern Anatolia region, in 1986 as a family business offering vehicle recovery services, adding its first mobile cranes in the 1990s. Today it employs 85 people and runs a fleet of 70 units, including Liebherr, Demag and Grove All Terrains of up to 500 tonnes.
