Polish cargo handling operator Bulk Cargo has taken delivery of a 90 tonne Terex TRT90 Rough Terrain for general cargo and material handling at Port Szczenic in north west Poland, close to the border with Germany.
The new crane was purchased though Terex RT distributor EWPA which has branch in the town of Szczecin. One of its core duties will be handing steel and steel sheets.
The TRT90 features a five section 47m main boom with maximum tip height of 49.5m, a nine to 17 metre bi-fold swingaway extension takes that up to 66 metres and offers up to 32 degrees of offset. Overall width is 2.99 metres, the overall length just over 14 metres and overall height 3.99
An integrated camera system, includes a winch camera, one on the right-hand side of the superstructure, and a rear-view camera, along with the TEOS intuitive control system and 10 inch touchscreen.
Bulk Cargo-Port Szczenic is the largest multipurpose port operator within the ports of Szczecin and Świnoujście, handling a diverse range of dry and liquid bulk cargo as well as general cargo. With eight quays totally 2,800 metres and an annual cargo turnover of around 4.5 million tonnes.
