US rental and sales company Kitchen's Crane & Equipment has taken delivery of several new additions to its heavy lift rental fleet.
The order includes a four axle Scheuerle MPEK 170.8.2 SPMT, a 400 tonne Enerpac SL400 hydraulic gantry and a 15 tonne Hoist FR25-35 forklift with fork and boom attachments.

The SPMT will be naturally be used to move oversized and heavy loads, while the gantry is aimed at transformer installation, industrial maintenance and infrastructure work, while the forklift's boom attachment allows it to be used for lifting as well as material handling.
Company president Eddy Kitchen said: "Investing in our fleet is an investment in our customers. We're committed to offering equipment that delivers greater efficiency, reliability and versatility as our customers take on increasingly complex projects."
Kitchen's Crane & Equipment, based in Richmond, Virginia, was founded in June 2007 by Eddy and Kimberly Kitchen. It supplies new and used cranes, SPMTs, strand jacks, skidding systems, hydraulic gantries, platform trailers and rigging equipment for sale and rent.
In 2014 Kimberly Kitchen founded the Valparaiso, Indiana based Engineered Rigging Group, a virtual rigging service platform that co-ordinated lifting and rigging suppliers on projects in North America and overseas. In 2025, the couple resigned as owners and managers of the group to focus on Kitchen's.
