Gantry cranes and high winds
The port of Gaum was forced to take three of its ship-to-shore gantry cranes out of service this week, after they were damaged in high winds.
It seems that one of the cranes ran away down its tracks for 300 metres before crashing into two others and derailing, thankfully no one was injured, and disruption is expected to me relatively minor,
The video report below explains it all.
