The new SAC1500E

A seven metre boom extension can be added between the boom nose and the swingaway for a maximum tip height of 92 metres. Power comes from a single Mercedes engine.
Total counterweight is 45 tonnes, of which 26.5 tonnes can be carried on the road with axle loads of 16.5 tonnes. The crane is fully equipped with full remote controls, 360 degree and boom tip mounted camera systems, Sany variable positioning outrigger system, Power-Pad Storage system and the new ADAS 360 radar system.
The handover (L-R) Thomas Issitt of Crowland, Stuart Ward of AW Plant Services and Pete Issitt of Crowland Cranes AW managing director Stuart Ward said: "This new SA1500e is a welcome addition to our fleet, our first Sany crane to join our rental fleet operating in East Anglia, we completed a successful trial period with the machine prior confirming the order, the crane was well received by our operators and customers, adding this machine to our fleet was an obvious choice."
Family owned AW Plant Services was established in 1982 and is based at the Eurocentre in Great Yarmouth in southeast England. It serves East Anglia with a fleet of cranes from a 40 tonne two axle Tadano up to the new 150 tonne Sany, with most of its work coming from the offshore sector.
