It offers 2.6 tonnes at 97m radius

In the UK the crane can travel with Y-Guy, 10t of ballast and a hook block
Under the UK’s 16.5 tonnes per axle STGO road regulations, the LTM 1400-6.1 can travel with 10 tonnes of its 140 tonnes of counterweight along with a hook block and the Y-Guying system.
(The new crane was ordered at Bauma last year, David Simpson (L) confirms the purchase with Lyle Sibbald of Liebherr GB Operations director David Simpson said: ‘We knew as soon as Liebherr announced the launch of a six axle crane with Y-Guying technology that it would be a great addition to our fleet.”
“A lot of our work is focused on the unloading of wind turbine components from vessels, so having a compact crane with incredible duties is a massive benefit for quayside work where space is often restricted. Another benefit of the new crane is the interchangeable ballast with our LTM 1650-8.1.”
Established in 1964 Hugh Simpson Contractors is based in Wick, just south of John O’Groats in the far north east of the country.
