PB Lim moves up

UpRight has appointed Poh Boon Lim (PB Lim) to the post of sales & distribution manager for the Asia Pacific Region, he was previously Snorkel district manager for South East Asia.

Lim will be responsible for developing a regional support centre and co-coordinating activities with Snorkel Australia and UpRight Japan, UpRight district managers Allan Chew and Dennis Wu will report directly him in his new role.

PB Lim

Lim has a long career in the crane and access industry, having spent time with Mammoet and Grove Worldwide, before joining UpRight in 1996 as a district manager for the Pacific Rim. He joined Snorkel and took up his current position in 2004...

Lim said: "South East Asia as a whole is a fantastic market that is growing every day. But it is also a huge geographical area, with different territories requiring different strategies. Overall, my team will work with our strong distributors to grow sales and I believe we have an excellent opportunity to significantly increase market share."

Martin Connolly, who was previously responsible for the region will now concentrate on Europe, Africa and the Middle East as sales & dealer development manager for the region.
