Speedy Lifting wins £330k contract

Speedy Lifting of the UK has secured a three year £300,000 contract with Southern Water to provide equipment and associated support services to the water’s plants.

Speedy will supply a comprehensive range of equipment, including stainless steel pump chains and davits, from its depots in Dover, Southampton, Crawley, and Portsmouth. Southern Water has also named Speedy as its preferred supplier for bespoke equipment requirements.

The lifting equipment will contribute to Southern Water’s ongoing improvement plans to provide state-of-the-art water and wastewater treatment, cleaner seas and improved river water quality across Kent, Sussex, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
