New UK distributor for Mani-access

Russell Rowley has set up a new company, R² Access Platforms, to sell the Manitou range of aerial lifts to the Access Rental companies through Manitou dealer network in the UK and Ireland.

Rowley has previously worked with Skyjack and Russon Access, as well as running his own used equipment business. He parted company with Russon several months ago in order to set up his new venture.

Rowley said : “ With this unique arrangement the needs of customers throughout the UK can be quickly fulfilled, whether it be a spares or support issue, and can be serviced quickly due to the strategic locations of the Manitou dealer network giving the customer a genuine value for money service.”

The Manitou range of access equipment has been very well received within the marketplace and is now requested by name while the machines have proved to be both rugged and reliable. With new models on the drawing board and a greater ability to react to customers requirements. Manitou has an exciting future, of which we want to be a major part.”

The arrangeement with Russon Access, which also distributes Manitou aerial lifts to rental comapnies in its own right will continue unchanged.
