IPAF teams up with ARA survey

The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) has teamed up with the American Rental Association (ARA) to gather data on the North American powered access industry.

Under the agreement, six questions specifically on powered access have been included in the construction segment of the ARA/Rental Management 2008 State of the Equipment Rental Industry Survey. Respondents will only be directed to these questions if a certain percentage of their revenue comes from powered access.

These are the same questions that IPAF has included in a similar statistics project with the European Rental Association (ERA). The results will thus enable benchmarking between the North American and European markets in terms of penetration, fleet size and buying intentions.

Preliminary results of the ARA-IPAF survey will be announced at The Rental Show in Atlanta, USA in March 2009. IPAF will publish the IPAF Access Market Report.
