The crane pulled over too far, ran onto the verge and sunk

The crane, a large Grove All Terrain owned by Terranova crane hire got into trouble as it travelled down the lane on Sunday, the driver pulled over to the right in order to avoid low overhanging branches on left of the lane.

However he moved too far onto the verge and sunk into the soft ground, saturated by Saturday’s heavy rain.
