It has been a while since we ran a Death Wish and this one is a real classic. One of our readers spotted this man working on the power lines outside the Harbortown Hotel in Iloilo City, on Panay in central Philippines.

Up the ladder and along the wires

The man used a ladder leant against the power lines in a busy street to climb up onto the overhead cables and then actually walk along them like a tightrope to get to the pole.

As if his escapades above were not enough, his ladder remained in the street, with no cones, or warning signs that it was there.

This has to be one of the worst examples of being oblivious to danger that we have come across so far.
