Management changes at Demag Cranes

Demag Cranes AG has appointed Aloysius Rauen, 52, as the new chairman of the management board with effect from May 1, 2009.

Rauen - most recently chairman of Eurofighter Jagdflugzeug GmbH - will take over from Harald Joos, 56, whose appointment is terminated by mutual consent – because of differing views - as of March 31, 2009.

He is expected to say his final farewell to shareholders during the course of the annual general meeting on March 3rd.

In future, the chairman of the management board will also be responsible for the services segment, human resources and labour director. In addition to the Industrial Cranes segment, Thomas Hagen, 46, will be responsible for Demag's port technology business.
