David Symon 1958 -2009
David Symon, 51, formerly chief executive of Peterhead PLC – owner of Peterhead crane hire, Cox Plant, Cox Hire Centres and most recently of Nigg Plant passed away last Thursday, after loosing a fight with cancer.
Symon was a controversial member of the UK crane and plant hire industry and certainly earnt the tag of industry 'character'. He worked closely with Roger Taylor also of Peterhead crane on a number of ventures.
