IPAF regional meeting
The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) will hold its first UK regional meeting next Wednesday evening in Haydock, North West England.
The idea is to attract members and prospective members some of whom might find it difficult to take the time to travel to a national meeting. The aim is to create a relaxed but informative meeting that also serves as a useful networking event.
The meeting will be hosted by Peter Jones, who being born in Liverpool and now living in Manchester can claim to be a true native of the North West, he said: ‘’ I am really pleased the way things are shaping. We have got a good mix of attendees from local businesses and from national companies represented in the area. There will also be some manufacturers joining us. I am expecting a really lively exchange of information and a great industry socialising opportunity’’.
IPAF president John Ball, will also attend the event. Ball is managing director of Easi UpLifts which is currently selecting premises for a new location in the area.
Geoff Frackelton of the Health & Safety Executive will give a talk and answer questions from attendees.
The meeting will be held on Wednesday 20th May commencing 6.00pm at the Ramada Encore Hotel, Piele Road, Haydock WA11, 0GR. The meeting includes a buffer dinner – tickets are £10 for members and £15 for non members.
