Four new Bronto’s for Easi

Easi Uplifts the Dublin based international rental company has taken delivery of four new Bronto truck mounted lifts destined for the UK.

The new units include one 70 metre S70XDT and three 46 metre S46XDT. The four units mounted on Volvo trucks were delivered last week to the company’s facility in Dublin for pre-delivery inspections prior to heading for the UK.

The 70 metre unit will feature on the company’s Vertikal Days stand before moving joining a new London based truck mounted fleet. It has been specified with one of the highest possible specifications, including an 8x4 chassis with rear wheel steer for manoeuvring in tight locations.

The units will be available on direct rent or on a re-rent basis to other rental companies in the UK market.

Speaking of the new machines, Easi UpLift managing director John Ball said: “All the machines are receiving PDIs at our Dublin headquarters, but are registered to our UK rental company Easi UpLifts (Aerials) Ltd and are now ready for dispatch to our truck-mounted division.

“The 46 metre machines will be located in our existing depots across the UK and Northern Ireland, while the 70 metre will work out of the new location in East London. There is an excellent opportunity for an experienced operator in the London area. Involving UK-wide travel along with a business development role to expand our customer base”.

“While this is a substantial capital investment in difficult times, I am confident that there is sufficient work in the market place for high-specification quality truck mounts. Initial feedback on the 70m Bronto has been extremely positive, with some rental contracts already in place”, adds Ball.
